INDIVISIBLE El Dorado and El Dorado County Democrats members hosted a Congressman 5th District Town Hall event on Wednesday, April 9th, with a live zoom presentation and Q&A by Congressman Garamendi to share insights into Congressman McClintock's dereliction of duties and the crisis in Washington DC.

We wrote postcards and emotion cards to express our concerns about issues concerning the constituents of California's 5th Congressional District.

During the meeting, we covered several key areas, including:

• What Trump/Republican actions are most important for us and representatives protest, reject and push back on;

• What the congressional Democrats are doing and will continue to do to rein in the Trump/Republican governmental overreach;

• How can each of us, for the next 18 months, engage constituents, increase voter turnout and ultimately win back a Democrat congressional majority, by turning CA-5 and CA-3 BLUE!
