NO Kings 2 Protest

Patriots across our country celebrated their love of democracy and freedom in over 2600 cities and small towns across the country. They gathered to speak out at one of the many NO KINGS Day rallies and made this the largest peaceful protest in the history of our country.

NO Kings 2 & YES ON 50 Sign Making Event

Many El Dorado County residents spent Saturday morning, September 27, in preparation for the October 18, “YES on 50” overpass demonstrations. They gathered to make the signs that will send the message, “Vote on November 4”.

YES ON 50 Post Carding Event

Our great state is fighting autocracy head on and here in El Dorado County we are committed to do our part. Volunteers like those who showed up on Thursday, September 24, to a local post card party are educating voters, explaining why YES on Prop 50 is how we reclaim having a free country.

Over 130 citizens showed up in Placerville on Saturday, August 16, to demonstrate in support of the Texas Democrats' efforts to “Stop the Trump Takeover” and Texas redistricting.

Families First Food Drive in Placerville

On Saturday, July 26, Indivisible El Dorado conducted a food drive to collect donations for El Dorado County food banks. Volunteers received donations from 10 a.m. to noon at 183 Placerville Drive. More than 1,500 pounds of food was collected.

Tom McClintock Office Visit

After being turned away last week when we attempted to deliver a basket full of Easter goodies and notes from constituents to Representative Tom McClintock’s district office, we emailed his office with pictures and our regrets that we were not welcomed. After receipt of our email, Matt Reed, Rep. McClintock district chief of staff, contacted our leadership to schedule an appointment! INDIVISIBLE El Dorado and El Dorado County Democrats members hosted a Congressman 5th District Town Hall event on Wednesday, April 9th, with a live zoom presentation and Q&A by Congressman Garamendi to share insights into Congressman McClintock's dereliction of duties and the crisis in Washington DC.

Hands OFF! Rally

INDIVISIBLE El Dorado members supported the Hands Off! Rally in Sacramento and Jackson, CA on April 5, 2025. Nearly 200 people in the small gold rush town, and over 5,000 people attended on the lawn at California’s capital, Sacramento! Some also gathered in Washington, DC to join others in INDIVISIBILITY!
